Fixed Bearing (Festlager)
- Prevents axial movement of the shaft.
- Requires one locating ring (Festring) on each side of the bearing within the housing.
Floating Bearing (Loslager)

- No locating rings should be installed, allowing the bearing to move axially within the H7-toleranced seat.
